I keep praising the Dolmar PS-6400.
With the longer stroke the Solo 665 is bound the be a even better performer stock.

I love my stock PS-6400, 'nuf said!

They're very close. A well broken in 6400 was faster in 16" of hardwood when the 665 was brand new

There are some still around, but no longer made.

Not sure why, they seem like a really well built saw

You use a torch and heat it up to get it to bend?

Used acetylene torch. Use it on 7900 same way except just open up under the deflector . Mild WP I feel its open enough without added deflector (288).
