Even 94 in the 7900 works. Especially wit a little added compression. I'm going to end up trying one of these longer stroke ones with a 7900 top end. I may go to 92 or even 90 on mine when I put it together in a few weeks.

Not like you might think. Of course it will be larger than it was as a 665, but barely more than a 7910.

The 7910 jug just works better on this chassis than the 681 jug....at least for me.

That's your saw there in the video Rick.......and it's on it's way to Texas.

Now......to make the unlimited saws as stout.
Wow Randall!@!!!!!! It has Balls as big as all out of doors!!!!!! Woot!!!! Wooot!!!!

cant wait to put my 28" set up on it and bust some rounds!!!!!!

Hi compression, timing advance, and no compression relief are the likely culprits! It took everything I had in me to start a Smittybilt 064 at the Upstate NY GTG last year. I was so relieved when "it came to life".

2100 husky is about the hardest to start followed by a 288. Never had a problem with 064/084/088. Even a Mac 125 was easier than the 2100. These dolmars and solos aren't bad at all. I've not pushed one to 230 lbs like Carl has. Most of my builds were under 200.

Damn. Now I wanna send my 665 off to Randy for a ported 7910 top end swap.

None of my ported saws are that hard to start, but I don't think any of them are over 200... and my 064 is no problem at all.

This 064 has too many aftermarket parts. I'm not sure whether it's a coil/flywheel issue, or a carb issue. I just ain't able to pull on it any longer. The last thing I need is to reinjure myself when I'm just starting to heal.
That sucks. I hate pulling on a saw forever to not get any results.

That is exactly what I did Keith.

I don't know everything the Smittybilt guys do to their saws, but I will tell you that it includes higher compression, a lot of timing advance, and cylinders w/o decompression valves.

You should come on up to the GTG and pull on one for yourself!

I ran the one with a black grenade on it at wigg's place last year.
Solid runner.
