Last week I got into a heavy dispute with "my superior" that doesn't know his @$$ from his head - he threatened me to get me fired, I replied "f-ing manure of a human being go ahead, You'd do me a favor!"

He didn't look at me all day today, passed me several times and unfortunately I am not unemployed still - never have been my whole adult life, crave it though.

The best sites have very little moderation. It tends to keep the idiots in check.

I’ll be honest, I’m a “younger” member in age than a lot of the fellas here, but the homo/gay/bathroom humor gets real old, real fast. I personally know of a couple of people who have left because of it - what should be a place we can share some solid information, has to be weeded through a lot of BS sometimes. I understand the guys are going to bust balls from time to time, and I accept that and have been a part of it. IDK what I’m trying to say other than sometimes it goes way too far IMO. Take that for what it’s worth.

What kind of man is driven off by a few off color comments? Sounds like they need to hand out a hurt feelers report or maybe they are just #### chainsaw enthusiasts, but I highly doubt it.

We're all confused. What follows is my understanding, and I'm willing to be corrected.

Current moderators are @SOS Ridgerider , @jacob j. , and me, with advice from former moderator @Woodpecker.

There is currently no administrator, but I'm told the actual owner, @Gentleman is making a choice soon.

The administrator makes policy, chooses mods, and carries out other high-level whatever.

Mods are more like janitors. We can lock/delete threads, approve new members, whatever it takes to keep things rolling. Right now, we're just trying to make things work for everybody. Hopefully, things will be clarified and stabilized in the coming week or so.

I understand what you’re getting at. However, being able to speak lewdly and constantly reading that nonsense isn’t a requirement to be a part of this forum. Does it happen - sure it does. Does it need to happen constantly, absolutely not. It actually takes away from the intelligence and knowledge shared here. I am certainly not alone in wanting that kind of talk kept out of the technical and helpful threads. It’s certainly rampant in the Off Topic areas, as it should be. I have taken part in it there as well.

Let's keep the child side of things better off un said. Dan is not an idiot. Unfortunately the head moderator has done some out of context posts from emails in an unprofessional manner to misconstrue the real-time lines of events that occurred. Dan has reached out to a shop and ordered missing said parts and had them shipped to Randy. The timeliness of events was 4 mos and not 8 as was depicted. And yes he did drop his cell phone in the lake in July fishing. So imagine loosing contacts and verbal texts on issues at hand. Dan is going to get on this thread and state his side of what went down. @JJ or @Woodpecker I ask yinz to be sure he isn't blocked and can poast as needed. Damn I feel as dirty as a group shower with @sawmikaze. Welp wanted to get this out there, knowing there's always two sides to chit like this.

It's gonna be the same old story. It seems to be a recurring problem. I bought a saw from Dan and it took 2 months to get it. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because he was helping out Nixons wife, but 2 months is still a long time.
