In the farming thread I asked for opinions once on solar farms as a way to continue owning lands without the risks associated with crop markets. Like as a legitimate family trust or retirement plan.

I was warned off the topic for making a political post. All I wanted were fact based opinions from people (farmers) who had real experience.

Regardless I dropped it and pretty much gave up on adult discussions about anything but what oil and gas to use.

Probably 80% of my non-work internet use is for this forum. We've got a really good thing going and I don't want it to end. Just because some members are in a dispute with each other, doesn't mean that everybody else and everything going on here should suffer.
