I would have never guessed that but I believe you're right. Looks a lot like this modern version.I believe it's a sledgehammer for pounding posts. I think for wood posts.

Pretty sure I have an extra one of those, but not really needed on a smaller drill, like this.
Hopefully, I will also have a chuck key in my pile of drill parts.
