The 1.6mm star section stuff is for a small battery strimmer. The holes in the spool won't take anything bigger.

I have this 2.4mm square stuff for the big petrol strimmer.

I didn't know there were such large quantities šŸ˜‰ I buy them from someone second hand, because retail is more expensive / I also use thinner ones, but only in small quantities, occasionally 1.6 and 2.0

Yes. 434 metres (1,423 feet) for the 2.4mm and 840 metres (2,755 feet) for the 1.6mm.

PM me your address and I will send you several dozen metres of each, for free.
Thanks šŸ¤ šŸ‘ I don't need it, I'm asking out of curiosity / I have a lot of string and brushcutterfrom almost every possible engine capacity

I don't have a battery one, but the Kawasaki Kbh26 can probably be compared in terms of power?

Damn big spools! :)

For what I cut 1.6mm is just too thin, 2.4mm barely suffices in softer weeds.

I have Husqvarna Penta Star shaped and several different square lines, the sharpest is Dolmar square-twisted.
I no longer buy lines under 2.7mm gauge.
Last week I found and bought square 3.3mm , can't wait to try it.
