My EGO 56Volt 6Ah battery pack came in today.
Damn, this thing is packing some weight, and size!
Best case scenario, it will serve for 18650 Li-Ion cell salvage and I manage to flip some of the cells retrieving what I have in this pack and still have some quality cells left for myself. ;)
Worst case scenario the fuse blew and I will enter a whole new level of battery powered equipment.
Other battery packs for scale.

I am loving the rubber padded outer case, next to no outer damage to the pack! :)

This probably belongs in a different thread, but you are in a unique position of comparing how the different battery packs are assembled. I believe that EGO, for example, talks about how the individual cells are arranged to allow for better cooling.

Of course, if the battery packs are really well-made, then you are probably not obtaining them as ‘defective’!

What is this conduit from the clutch side. Can a standard cable be used here?

Small cheap drone (quadrocopter).
No battery (bloated, I didn't want the seller to ship it).
Runs improvised connected to a 18650 Li-Ion cell, seems to pull well at 100% throttle.
Trying to "connect" two 18650 cells in parallel for balanced load and increased runtime.

Get that working, and you’ve solved the issues with shipping costs to the US!

Philbert
LOL :risas3:

After that Russian/Ukrainian military drone crossing multiple borders and countries unhindered and then crashing in Croatia's capitol I am pretty certain NATO will shoot down anything in the sky not identifying as their own! :p

Besides, as I keep noting, shipping from Croatia TO the US is not that expensive, but shipping from the US TO Croatia is just disgusting.

But I might cut shipping time! :D
