Always pay in zloty or the processing charges you to convert to USD or the kiosk gets you. I keep a 20 for emergencies.
I still have złoty left over from when I worked in Poland back in 2003 and 2004. Besides being cool looking, like you said, always good to have some for an emergency!

I assumed it was local to here, eastern Lancaster county but it turns out it’s not. I have stuff from Whitmoyer Laboratories that was local and created a superfund disaster.!

These are local pieces to me. The thermometer is from the old feed mill south of me. It closed down in the early 1980's. Back in the days of landlines you did not get many calls so you ran to the phone when it rang. The feed mill number was one digit off ours and we many times got calls for the feed mill. One of the funniest was when I answered and it was the neighbor south on the hard road. He was a older single man in his 80's. His sons were doing the farming but he still wanted to be active. He would call me up if he wanted me to do some small fence building or building repairs. During the summer on Saturday evenings I went over and push mowed/trimmed what he could not get with his rider. We one late Fall day I answer the phone and hear a very upset man yelling "I am cold, I am cold, dammit get over here and fill my LP tank". I knew by teh voice it was Harry F and I knew he had mis-dialed. The feed mill also delivered LP and that is who he was trying to call. I just said "Harry this is Bill you need to call the feed mill not me" He was a gruff but great man.

After years of sharpening bits by eye with the bench grinder, I decided to buy this rig. Should've bought this thing years ago. Does a great job and its so simple even a caveman can do it. I'm 20 bits in and the diamond wheel still looks brand new. Well worth the cheddar

I recently picked up the old original teal drill doctor from a thrift store (even came with the original instructional VHS) and agree... dont know how i went so long without one... i have done a good 50 bits or so already, and its just convenient and repeatable....
