im jealous, ive been looking for one that I dont have to sell my kidneys forGot this today. 103 pounds. It has a crack at the leg but it’s an anvil.

I’ve been looking for one since around 2002. I had to give the shear operator at the scrapyard a bucket and this thing’s laying in the pile. He said thirty cents a pound if I can carry it to the dock to weigh. I spent every Saturday and rain day at a scrapyard for years and never saw an anvil come in.no comment

should be easy to weld. lower part of anvil is probably just cast iron, heat that area up and fire up the arc welder.Will you try drilling and welding the crack? Or use the anvil as it is?
