I just put new summit trail climber AT’s in 285/75r16 on my f-350 and it was just shy of $700.
Those look good too.👍
Have you gotten that j-red 2150 I sent you up and running yet.

I haven’t, I’ve been trying to source a 346 cylinder for it. Fix my toys on eBay had them for about $120 but they are out of stock now. I think I might be able to get them through SLE equipment for about $100 though.

Got a brand new battery for ye old tractor this morning!
IMG_20231124_103717.jpg

I am not gonna sit in the cold & dark at the end of the day, tractor engine not turning because of a dead battery (out of my moms car, old, dead, too small) just cause my dad finds the expense of a new battery not worth the limited usage our tractor gets.

I HATE questionable reliability and running into issues with equipment when I need it to work!!!

No, it's the tire shop's
I'd have way more "friends" if I had a lift like that.....lol

Yessir.
I've got the same thing on the rear of the Yukon & they're holding up very well.... and at $700 otd, it's pretty cheap in today's stupid world
Wow! My last set of tires was $1100 or $1200!! Nothing fancy, either. 265/70r17/10-ply

I'd blame Cal, but @Nate. Is there and he paid about what I did here in America.....
Maybe being 17" costs $4-500 more?

Ya name brand tires are more for sure. The Summits are a off brand. I’ve found Walmart to be good for tires if you keep an eye open they go on sale & you can get tires pretty cheap.

Now, when I don't drive much tractor, I charge the battery once a month
My tractor never runs much, once every couple months.

My tractor ran on "defective" car batteries for the past couple decades.
This works so-so in the summer, but not in the winter.
I am expecting extended winter vacation.
I hope to clear a property of mine from brush (mostly wild hazel, decent firewood) and storm damage.
To do so I NEED my tractor to run/start reliably.
I also need to push LED work light upgrade, days are just too short in the winter!

My dad is just an old fart that won't replace anything running after half a day of messing with it - I can not relate to that.

My dad doesn't even know I purchased a new battery for the tractor, I intend to install it without him knowing.
Couldn't do it today as he was hovering around the yard.

😂 sounds exactly like my dad! Never replace something you can squeeze a little more life out of. Even at the expense of half your day spent tinkering with it.

My parents grew up during a time when labor was cheap, and ‘things’ were expensive.

Sometimes i do stuff just to see if I can.
