Thankfully we dont have the actual ..EPA.. over here. Sure we are not allowed to pollute needlessly and there are emission rules but to treat the saws like they are "TOXIC WASTE " !!!Douchebags....God forbid we be able to keep our equipment tuned properly
Dont think the EPA want adjustment outside of the limiter caps now or then. Just put this up out of interest to show "Actual" action taken rather than what is thought to take place. To be fair that violation was 5 years ago (Feb 2011).
Did a test the other day with the fuel I get from my small filling station/garage. I believe we are meant to have up to 10% ethanol (Bio Fuel ??!! ) allowable added without listing it on the pumps. I could not detect ANY in 3 tests i did . I believe that the cheeper fuel sold at ..SOME..supper markets filling stations here has some in it as it is often said that there can be some performance issues with the supper market fuel . This could explain how i dont see the fuel line issues you have over there...sure the fuel will go stale in months but not eat rubber or tygon line.Thankfully, almost every fuel station in my area now offers ethanol-free 91 octane. EVERYTHING I own gets that fuel save two things gets 91 e-free, from my saws, weedwackers and wheelers, to my boats and '78 Chevy. Only two things I own that get regular fuel with ethanol, the '99 Silverado and '06 Silverado.
