Thank you! Yes it's puzzling to me as well. Nothing looked too bad about it. Just a lower overall quality. Not that it matters apparently (my Farmertec 440 cylinder looked same quality but runs super strong)

I lost my notes when I originally timed the FT 372 cylinder, but I think it had a lot of blowdown, maybe 30 degrees? I should have re timed it but I just didn't feel like it. I was excited to try this new Laser cylinder with how nice it looked.

Here's a weird I idea. I just assumed fixing the air leak was the solution to my problem but I did swap the ring out for a caber when I put mine back together. Does the ring have any weird wear marks on it from the farmer piston/cylinder.

Did you ever get record of the farmer tech cylinder timing numbers I was just curious as to how bad it was off that it was floating the timing on the top end. Did you ever look to see if it was free porting maybe. The laser cylinders aren't terrible I think they're a little less quality than actual hyway tinickel but also less money. This is merely curiosity.
