I found one more thing in the Husky parts lot that I can't identify and looking for some help.

I expect it is a carb bracket but for what model? It is about 1.875" c-to-c for the two carb mounting holes and has a 13/16" throat opening.

Heya Barry - I'm thinking that is a bracket that bolts to the carb (turn it 180 degrees) and also provides an anchor point for a air filter cover.

Just my $.02 ... lemme try to dig a bit.

I agree......likely for a 490/590 Jonsered, 5000, 5000+ Partner etc. The tab at the bottom bolts to the top of the fuel tank....they frequently metal fatigue right at the bend.

Yes, they look very similar but the support leg looks shorter on my part compared to the IPL's for those saws. I couldn't find any pics of the part number (505 26 93-12) in eBay or anywhere else online.

When searching Google, you can search on 505269312 OR '505 26 93-12' ..

Looks like it's been replaced by 503607001 ...
