I doubt you'll find a stronger competitor than a ported 241.
I have zero Dolmar dealers around here that keep anything in stock. Are these clamshells? I dont have any IPL's for Dolmar.
I looked on their website and it looks like they are about a pound heavier. I know after adding a bar, chain, oil and gas it'll be closer to 13-14#...
I love Echo, for buying a new saw I would prefer buying Echo over anything else. But from what I see everything Echo has to offer in the small CC range is a clamshell.
To heavy. I had one and I am afraid its a little to much for him.
A rebuilt, and ported 242XP?
One of the most disappointing saws in my opinion. IMHO, they're way over hyped.A rebuilt, and ported 242XP?
It's all your fault, Brad. Everyone knows it......and stuff. One of the most disappointing saws in my opinion. IMHO, they're way over hyped.
I went on this same quest myself several years ago. The 377 was the best built saw I looked at. However, it fell way behind others in performance.Get Josh to build you a shindaiwa 377.
My dad cuts all his wood with a 352s. He's not on any Chainsaw forums so he doesn't know it's under powered or not worth his time
If he doesn't want it, shoot me a price or what you'd trade it for.@Genius if'n you want a 377......let me know. It'll need a brake flag.
