BTW - in another thread I noted how these pieces can be quite instructional when trying to explain things to customers, new saw users, etc. What a 'worn' sprocket looks like compared to a new one; what running 'straight gas' does to your engine' what a worn out bar looks like; why you wear chaps; etc.. etc., etc. Save some of your 'good' ones.

This guy put a 3/8 B&C on a 350 with a .325 spur and managed to cut with it long enough to do this;

Said he figured it needed a clutch because it was slipping, I guess he was sorta correct.
Must've felt just a little bumpy for a while there...

We have customer's that buy that all the time.
Then they call and complain that there's something wrong with our sprockets not fitting.

What caused it?
I'm not 100% sure. The saw was fully rebuilt. New crank bearings and all. When I got the saw it was in pieces. From what I can tell looking at the broken crank I think it may of been cracked when I got it.
