My ms362. Simple gut job. Kept the same deflector and almost tripled the outlet size.



I uncrimped the seal and found this baffle that also housed the spark screen. Tough little bugger to get out because it was spot welded in, and I didn’t have proper tools.

After some love from a 1/4 carbide burr, the inside was emptied and cleaned up. This is how big I made my opening. I think it started out at a 3/8 or 1/2 diameter hole. Seeing how it’s not ported, I don’t think and bigger exit will be beneficial. I’ll probably end up loosing back pressure and only gaining noise.
