I can let you know how the 2 compare when I dig into the 572’s. Hehe

The MK2 is also easier to gut.

Husqvarna 395xp. I cleaned up the original outlet and added a second port using a 288xp deflector. I retained the screen in the original location and repurposed a screen from an old Poulan countervibe for the 2nd outlet. I mig welded the 288 deflector.

Put another port in it Ed...lol
And get some paint on it...[emoji16]

Last pic Jeff! It's painted!
I just wanted to get it going. I then pulled it, removed the baffle and gave it some paint.

I figured, why paint it if I will hack on it more!
I will likely add the dual port front cover, @Stump Shot suggested it.
Saw is stock. For now.

I cut apart the last 361 I did and welded it back together. I practiced on an aftermarket one. I can tell you that the metal is thicker on oem than farmertech. The spot welds are stronger in oem too.

I decided to remove the insides through the exhaust. Lots of drilling, using the dremel, chisel, and needle nosed pliers. It was difficult and time consuming. I had to weld 4 spot welds that left holes in the front cover.

Here she is before I weld on @Red97 s deflectors. I ordered a medium and a large to see what will be better.

Cylinder will be going under the knife shortly and. I want it to breath. It’s a totally empty van now. image.jpgimage.jpg
