Ive had this saw torn down for awhile. Dave motivated me to finish it with his 133 thread. Cylinder pics.

This 133 is by far the easiest saw I have ever disassembled and worked on. Very well thought out and engineered.

I’m not a big fan of the press fit worm gear, but other than that, I agree.
Similar to a 2 series husky in many ways.

I just gutted the muffler on my little saw. I kinda figured it would be little louder. Not much at all.
Other mufflers i have done it usually gives them a nice sound. But i usually add a small pipe to it.
What make this saw stay so quiet? Its a dolmar ps 420.
