Now you guys got me on a knife kick. Lol! Just ordered the badassyest leatherman I could find with a leather sheath. I've been wanting one for a long time but the $130 price tag has always scared me away. But a good leatherman or Gerber multitool is sooooo nice to have. Also found a SOG Trident (std.) on sale for $39.95, normally $80. Woohoo! Few things bring me more consumer satisfaction than buying knives. Second only to guns.
I have a leatherman wave and like it a lot. Oh and yea guns, knives, etc.

This is a GREAT deal on a nearly custom made hunting knife from Wayne Hendrix. http://www.hendrixknives.com/whd1/index.htm I have one of his custom #11 knives, which is exactly the same grind, but just a more expensive steel ATS34/154CM rather than standard 440C standard stainless knife steel. It is actually my favorite EDC knife and honestly, if I had to have only one knife, this would probably be it. Seriously, I think the Hendrix 440C version is the absolute best value (performance / cost) in a fixed blade, all around hunting knife around. Here's my custom #11. Another knife I find extremely versatile and handy is my Case Large Stockman. It sharpens up really nicely and has a spear, clip point and sheep's foot blade. Great combo.

My boy bought a cheena made spyderco for $40 & while I think it was a great bargain at that price, I couldn't bring myself to do it. Same with the Kershaws. Gotta be the USA made one's or I'll pass.
I had one of those to take when I flew overseas. That way I didn't get a real nice on confiscated at customs somewhere. Need to get another one before I fly back to one of those countries again.

Smart feller.
I have the hots for a Kershaw Blur so that will be my next purchase. Seen a few on the bay for $40.

I got super nervous last year on a visit to NYC. We went up the empire state building and I had to check my knife at the entrance. I was freakin'!! Got it back with no issues. And it wasn't swapped with a fake, lol.

I've had to do that at a nuke plant. Blade length now in one utility is 2.5".
