I have a couple of the m16 plain edge's good knives.
I prefer the hammond cruiser i keep it in my jeep console.
I'll be getting one of those next. I was torn between the m16 tanto and the cruiser and went with the m16 because I like the hilt it has for defensive applications.

Here's most of my knives, there's a few more chipmunked away in vehicles but they're nothing great. The two case fixed blades are my primary hunting knives. The smaller of the two was given to me by my dad when I turned 12. I really like Case steel, holds an edge for a long time and sharpens back up nicely. The SOG Trident is my carry knife at work.

Just wish the 2 blade Case folder locked open like a buck 110. Sucks you lost your knife. I watch mine like a hawk because of that. I like knives:)

Kershaw makes a nice blade. My SOG trident is assisted, pops out extremely fast and the controls are nice
Back in the early 90s i worked nights as security for a couple of year's across the street from an old filthy dive bar.
At the trucking place we watched dozens of fight's over the year's.
You would be suprised how much damage a 2.5-3.5 pocket knife can do.
A buck 110 does the job cops carried them back then.
I've always carried a knife for everyday use but back then is when i started buying the fast openers they were new then.
Now these 15-20.00 assisted knives are the ticket one hand opening.
I've given alot of them as gifts.
It's always good to have a knife handy.

You dern right buddy. I never leave home without a knife. I honestly can't believe how inexpensive kershaws are now. I give them as gifts also...and maybe keep a few for myself;)

This Microtech is one of my favorites.........but it's kinda like trying to say which one of your kids is your favorite.

I'm with you on the premium knifes.

I wouldn't buy one unless I was going to carry it.
There are so many great kinfes out there now. It's kinda crazy to spend a lot unless it what you really want.

Now you guys got me on a knife kick. Lol! Just ordered the badassyest leatherman I could find with a leather sheath. I've been wanting one for a long time but the $130 price tag has always scared me away. But a good leatherman or Gerber multitool is sooooo nice to have. Also found a SOG Trident (std.) on sale for $39.95, normally $80. Woohoo! Few things bring me more consumer satisfaction than buying knives. Second only to guns.
