I do not glue my wedges. I cant see what good it would ever do? I try to put them together bone dry. Then just figure on moisture making it tighter. I’ve not had any wedges move so far

If you don't mind me asking, what does this cost directly from Germany? Germany via Washington cost $299. for us, I am just curious how that compares...

I like the dual finish idea, would be pretty slick.
I could even see the rear getting blasted/ peened, to achieve a little texture with contrasting polished front.

I think that one is primarily a throwing axe, but I bet it works pretty well for that...

Which is the x17 with a long handle and it will have its own unique number and the 25yr guarante

That is a bargain, I was just curious about price, would have never in a bajillion thursdays thought that you could beat it, while including shipping. Bravo, I've got a few throwing hatchets, this could be a whole new bad habit....

It is a little Hudson Bay pattern axe they cost a few bucks but worth it ive been polishing it up a little lately this is what it was like when I got it

I own this axe & its totally useless as a splitting axe....its ok to cut kindling but the handle is too long for that & too short with to small head to split. It looks nice but is a kinda nowhere axe that ain't really good at anything. X27...different story.
