It's a good chopper and especially splitter with that 5 lb. head.

Well worn, head got reinforced with a steel plate, needs some attention.

I was thinking the same thing as I upped the pictures!

It's close, I should give it a try and compare to my all time favorite.

Those Norlund heads sure are nice! Do they hold a nice edge? Are they forged and hardened?

They are hardened on bit end. And do hold a great edge. Sorry for late reply. I haven’t been getting all my notifications last couple days
