I got this book and I’ve read it and enjoyed it very much what I was going to do was ship it out to one of you guys on the axe thread you can read it take what info you needed , then post it onto the next person who follows this great thread

Axe size comparisons Hb/Husqvarna and Stihl
from the top 4.5 lb HB Arvika 32 inch ,Husqvarna forest axe 28 inch ,stihl forest axe ,Husqvarna carpenters axe ,on the left are Husky and Stihl hatchets ,the metal in the HB Husky ones are much better than the stihl and hold a better edge ,but are hand forged also ,the bigger Stihl one is my wedge pounder now ,has a bigger surface area for hitting wedges KIMG2569.JPGKIMG2567.JPG KIMG2566.JPG KIMG2565.JPG KIMG2569.JPG

yes that sounds a good idea but give me a hammer or an axe and iam happy
but scanning to a pdf is out of my league its like asking me too use a Stihl M-TRONIC SAW :):)

I reinvested some tree cutting funds. Lol
I have been hand splitting for 40 years with cheap tools. I figured I owed it to myself. Lol
Now I gotta get more tree jobs. Lol

Lol. Several have tried to get that one every time I have it out. Especially at scout camps. I broke the original handle out of it a couple years ago and put a straight handle in it which I don’t really like as well.
