Looking GOOD! I remember when mine looked like that. I've got the splitting maul. I love mine.

I had a brief fling with an X27. It's a good tool, no doubt about it. A bit more power on account of the longer handle. In my estimation, anyway.

Just keep coming back to the Gransfors Bruks. I've done maybe 50 cords with mine. I'm honestly looking forward to the next 50.

Ya Id say this 32" model I have has alil more power than my x27. Hits more solid especially in bigger pieces. The Stihl (Ochsenkopf) I bought had an unbelievably terrible edge! Bounced off wood it was so bad. Took me many hrs to rebevel and sharpen to a razors edge but pops small rounds open really well now but was horrible when I got it
