I've got a 550xpg on back-order with @Gentleman that may be in stock on 22 Sept. but we will see. I won't be surprised to see it delay longer, hope not, but can wait for the foreseeable future as I know they are doing all they can to get the orders filled.

You hear any ETA's on Redmax trimmers?

We grabbed some BCZ250's a month ago, but haven't tried to order anything since. Gonna ride with them the rest of the year cause trimmer season is about over.

DW is the only guy who can give a straight answer; don't know if we are even going to get another rep. Told him to ditch that cell number; after 4 guys had it it's bad luck. :D

Was at my local Stihl dealer yesterday and new saw shelves were bare. Except for a couple small top handles and one used 441. This dealer is a high volume saw dealer that carries other pro tree gear (rope, climbing gear, rigging gear, etc.).

That's more in line with Stihl guys I know. We need to hear from @Cobby08 on how he's doing.

Been reading what you folks are saying here.
A Craigslist note for what it's worth.
I'm noticing prices on nearly everything, OPE related, on Craigslist has drifted up in price over the summer.
Most Push mowers are currently being listed for prices like it's springtime with sunny days and rainy nights.
Baggers (that actually have the bag) are the highest of course.
Broken string trimmers are being listed for as much or sometimes more than a runner was last year.
Backpack blowers (if decent looking & priced right) don't seem to stay listed for long.

Geez, I haven't even thought about backpacks yet, because I have some in stock. I better take a look.

I don't doubt that your craig's list observation is related to the short supply. On push mowers, there's so few companies making them anymore. MTD is about the last one.

My rep is stopping in this morning, and I'm going to order 120 saws, cause there's a program if you do that many. They will ALL be backordered for at least a few weeks.

That's a lot of saws.

Ain't gonna see them til October though. And I already had 60 some saws on backorder prior to today's order, but some of those should hit this month. Might have to cut some deals on G models on the 550's and 562's to keep those guys happy. Not a bad time of year for that, cause the G's sure weren't popular during all that 90° weather. :)

That's what I'm waiting for 550xpg.

No idea about the local to me Husqvarna dealer, but at the local Stihl dealer of my choice everything not in stock is backordered for months.
I did not pay attention to their shelves, nothing interesting to me ever on them anyway.

Couldn't care less, I personally don't need their services nor products anyway.

Jesus...

I know I grabbed the last 261C from my dealer 4-5 months ago. He mentioned they back ordered back then...

Yikes! 261's have been on backorder that long, or was that a temporary deal back then?

Most of my ship dates managed to get kicked out another week over the weekend. Some stuff is supposed to come in ahead of the dates though; maybe the 550's. ;)

He just made the comment at the time I was picking it up. Not sure if that has continued. Next time I'm up there I'll ask him.

Got the first batch of 500i saws in, 3 are already sold. Got 2 FS70 trimmers one today, only thing smaller than a 240 I have. I am good for the time being on most gas blowers and saws, a lot of battery stuff is delayed.

I really have no idea but can say the only reason I ever walk into a dealer is for parts .The Stihl dealer I use orders parts from the supplier in Cincinnati ,one of the largest in the country .He orders usually twice a week and it's seldom I have to wait much more than a week until I get my parts .The Husky parts I get from Amicks in North Carolina as there are no stocking dealers in this area .
This area has very little professional saw users and as such if they need a chainsaw it's TSC or Lowes .They buy chain oil and premixed fuel by the quart and a new chain once the old one gets dull .Those two have plenty of stuff to sell .
