I was reading the thread on the return of the 372xp and read it would be available in late Oct.
At my local Husqvarna shop the trimmer display and most of the chainsaw (pro) display is empty. They told me it’s all back ordered. I was discussing the 372 oe being available overseas for $800 and he told me he’d take all he could get at that price.
Is there plenty of product available around your areas ?

My Husqvarna shop is also a rental place.
It's actually more of a rental place than anything and last time they had zero saws, trimmers, etc.
But, for the last 3 years the most they had was 3 dust covered saws on display anyway.
Both Stihl shops have stuff.
Regional chain Fleet Farm has stock on Homeowner Husqvarna, Remingtons and Echo now.

My local dealer is a Stihl/Husky combo shop and they never have anything in stock. Every time an order comes in everything sells out or they just don't order any good saws.

The shelves here are full, even saw a 390xp on display! Stood there and drooled on that one... didnt feel much heavier than the 372... of course I dont need to share my CAD thoughts with you guys right???

I definitely seen a 365 as well as a t540, a 455 rancher and an entry level saw. I cannot remember if the 372 was there...

I can also say that special orders (parts) are taking twice as long due to this whole covid BS. Would not be surprised that the models I saw on display were all they had for inventory

Things are alittle lean here at the pro shops , the owners are busy as hell getting stuff ordered. They've broken sale records here because of the amount of people being home/working.
At first the home owner stuff went then the mid sized and so on.
Now when its hurricane season this usually happens also but pandemic shipping BS has complicated the bare shelves.
Non pro stores with out dealership are still selling the normal amount of trash.

My dealer has a warehouse and has every model husky in stock, even saw 5x 543 which isn't a big seller even a 3120 that's probably 3-4 yrs old. Other shop is out of 372/365 but has pretty much atleast one of the popular models in stock up to the 395.

Here in New Zealand the stihl shop is fully stocked and the husky dealer is fully stocked . Has a 390 and a 395 in stock . Says he's selling the 565 as fast as he can have them delivered . Saw 4 462 and 3 661 in stihl shop the other day

Pipelines are getting empty on an awful lot of things, not just saws. Gas grills, appliance, PVC pipe, pressure treated lumber. Reduced work force in factories for one. And that goes back a few levels to the point of not being able to get components from outside vendors. Example: A company can't build zero turns because they can't get clutches. The clutch company can't build clutches because they can't get bearings.

We're in good shape because we stock heavy on saws, but dealers who order for the shelf or in smaller quantities can't get most stuff right now.

"Always" might not apply with the current reality. I know a lot of Stihl guys are having some product issues as well. Your guy must be a good size dealer who brings in product in quantity.

Looking at some of the ship dates; I'm probably going to run out of 550's myself. :(

Yeah, but what they got and what they can get might be two different things.

Bummer is right. 550's are end of the month and I don't have a months worth sitting here, that's for sure. Sales are definitely up on those babies!

555/562 are getting some "enhancements", so that's part of the deal there.

I saw the 555 is getting some filtration improvement, something it and the 562 have needed for some time. Hopefully they can be retrofitted for those passionate about those models.

Yeah, it's supposed to retrofit to the current saws. :)

Nothing in the IPL's yet, or any service bulletins. Figure there has to be a new filter holder for the new filter. Not sure if there's a new top cover to go with it. Hoping this stuff fits under the Jonny 2260 covers too.

We have given up stocking Husky and special order only. Being in a small town with Lowe’s and Tractor Supply both stocking them made the decision easy.

We are having a hard time getting some Stihl products, out trimmer rack (except for the FS240 up) is pretty bare. Got in 4 FS56 trimmers and all were sold by noon the next day.

We are also seeing delays from other vendors, I have so few zero turns it looks like we are shutting down.

What other additional improvements are coming? New autotune along with a new top cover with a divider (like the 572) would be tit.

You hear any ETA's on Redmax trimmers?

Was at my local Stihl dealer yesterday and new saw shelves were bare. Except for a couple small top handles and one used 441. This dealer is a high volume saw dealer that carries other pro tree gear (rope, climbing gear, rigging gear, etc.).
