Like a dolt, I snugged up the flywheel nut with a ratchet when I installed it, but my torque wrench was out in the garage, so saved that for later. After 3 rounds chasing air leaks around the intake manifold, I finally got it sealed up and back together, but forgot to torque the nut.
Of course, got it warmed up and hit a log, and there was an awful noise. Nut backed off, key sheared, flywheel spinning loose on the crank, and I’m back to the bench.
Other than a new flywheel, any shop fixes? I have key stock, but no accurate way to cut a key slot in the flywheel.

Just mark the end of the crank with a sharpie where the slot for the key is.
Mark the flywheel with a sharpie where the cast in key was.
Line up your sharpie marks and your good to go

Edit: And tighten the mortal FUG out of it

If these saws like timing advance, it's a great time to do it.

Great news guys. This I can do.I’ll get it back together and let you know. I plan to use the “file a slot and use a copper wire” method as I think it will be closer to spot on than my sharpie marking skills.

Thank you guys.
Started right up.Took a few minutes to get its tune, then we were back in business. Cuts as well as my 2020 does.
