I used a router to cut grooves in the sides of the bench for the seat and the back.
Everything else I hacked with a chainsaw.
Kind of crude, but had fun cutting these up.

Find yourself a log and probably a saw you really dont care much about. Lots of little load wide open or part throttle.
And just start hacking. All my measurements were done by tape measure and a piece of sidewalk chalk I commandeered from my girls.
