I was actually asking about the 056 mag!

I hear you on the 460, sometimes it's fun to just see if it lives on your own stuff.

I have zero use for it, but keep searching for a deal on a Stihl 4xx series builder for some reason.
Alas, living in the land of $350 clapped out 029's and 455 ranchers, those be hard to come by reasonable. And when I have cash!

My bad, I have the slows.
I traded a member here for the 056 mag.
I like it a lot so far but haven’t done much with it, few test cuts is all.
Feels real solid and sounds great.

Ppfftt. I went to wire wheel threadlocker off a couple bolts. Stopped at the water cooler and filled my bottle.
Went back to my corner to spend 15 minutes looking for the bolts I set on top of said cooler.
And found a 10mm wrench in my back pocket when I got home.

Did I slight timing advance and a little carb adjustment and ran my converted 325 square. Seems a little better. Thoughts please.

Thanks. Yes sir its definitely stronger. On the 2nd cut I started pushing HARD and it kept right on pulling, and same thing on the up cut,pulling up HARD and it just kept on digging. Before the work I could just about get it to stall out if I wanted too. I got it to do what I wanted with the porting I did, so I'm pretty happy with it.

When a real machinist cant fix the screwed up cases from the shoddy work being done in the builders racesaws.
All 4 of the tapped holes are crooked for the key locking inserts.

What do you do = start over.
