looks like a silver maple and I cant believe its solid.

That one was solid from top to bottom. The one 20 feet away was rotted and hollow throughout.

I bet you that tree is only 60 years old. They grow fast and rot fast. Not the smartest choice along with weeping willow to plant near a house. Lol

When we moved to MD in the late 60's we went down to a new development and took saplings out of the woods. Silver Maples. When they got big the roots were all over the lawn, you almost needed a hydraulic lift to get the lawn mower over the roots. The ones out front made the sidewalk like a rollercoaster. A big PIA. I burn every one of them I can find.

I did some comparisons today with 261cm and 036. Same bar and chain. 18" 3/8 square file 7 pin rim

261cm and 036 almost same size. 036 has more POWA

My square filing is getting better, but still have long way to go. I am happy with my progress. I know I missed the corner just a bit. This is a round file chain converted to square. When I touch it up I will get a better corner.

Lol we both witnessed it boil the gas in the tank at the last gtg. My 562 was just fine that day. Just sayin.
