I'm wondering how much more it's gonna gain just by breaking in.
Has 5 full tanks through it now. Bottom end is broke in,(used bearings/seals) the cylinder/ring may have a bit more seating in to do, but have to be close by now.

Cool vids Kevin. Was it a stock 026? Guy needs an Artic model. Lol
Have him get in touch with Gary.
Saw ran pretty strong.

So I sold my 026 to a guy in Alaska. He cuts pine for firewood because that's what he has....millions of acres of it. Seems like a good fit for him. He sent me these a bit ago and he seems pretty happy with the saw

She runs nice! Pine works real good in the sap cooker, burns hot and fast. [emoji106]

He's texted me 10 times about how much he likes it. He has to cut in winter after the river freezes so he can cross it. He mostly cuts 8" poles and hauls them on a sled and snowmobile to his truck and trailer. Fills half the trailer with poles and loads the snowmobile on the back. He's usually tredging through 3' of snow so a lightweight saw is a must

But here are the REAL questions...

Does he run a square chisel chain ?

Does he use red armor ?

Yes

No
Sounds like he needs a tach mounted to his saw ?

And yes. Works Connection. Cuz i was leary about selling someone a saw that heats up and leans out on long cuts. Told him to keep it under 15k for it to be safe. I sleep better now. Well, other than not using Red Armor...

I don't like red armor. Saws ain't supposed to have periods.
Heavy flow.....
