Flat top 066 cutting some bigger rounds of birch with a so so chain. Came to me blown up so I salvaged the cylinder and put a meteor in it, dual port muffler.

Went straight out of the box to the bench for some “tweaking”. Less than 1/2 a tank of fuel run through it when I made the vid.

This is actually the second time I ran the saw. The first time I tried testing it the saw would start right up and piss rev great. Sink it in wood and it’d fall on its face and stall. I found out the hard way you have to watch the fuel line where it comes into the carb box. The hose is super soft and really easy to kink over if it’s not just right.

Too bad they’re not quite as fun taking them apart as they are running them. They are a complete pain in the ass.

Put an adjustable carb and opened up the airbox, of the ms170 and put a 50 gauge bar with pico chain

My first hybrid. sanded a little bit out of the squish band to not run a gasket widened the intake and exhaust a touch bumped the timing and just a single opened up stock exhaust for on the muffler 32” bar 8pin
