Damn that plastic looks sharp!
Lol! Not on this one. Think the Echo complaint department squashed that on the newer ones. Silky smooth:D
Pretty cool looking innards. I dig it
Thanks! Not bad for a $250 saw. Don't wanna let the secret out but these things r nothing but quality in every piece. Not the fastest out there, but i bring my echos every time as back up when wer cuttin.
Ole' reliables FTW!
Did i tell U's about the 355t?;)

For some reason I can't seem to view FB vids. [emoji2369]
For me FB videos don't work in the OP, but I can watch them in a quote of the OP.

That video is good for education, guy took off like a rocket and landed like a meteorite.
Ouch . . .

I wonder, why post something like that in the WWW. It is obvious that he was filming himself.

Is that the 490, and does it really wear a 20”? I agree on echo reliability and QC

Way too much bar for that saw in stock form, the one I had was good with a 16 and mm. Not as fast as a 026... much less the infamous 346... but good saw regardless and well put together.

Why is it way to much ? It's not like it'll get buried ever cut.

I wish i new if the 490 was capable or not of pulling the 20". But this one came str8 out of the box and got taken apart for some weight reduction.
Now the T-wolf wears the 20" proud.

I guess if a guy isn’t burying it all the time it’s ok, but there are better 50cc saws for a 20” bar.

Nicks pretty cheap...........
I can build a 346xp out of a 350 carcass for 250-300 bucks. A good used 026 runs about 200-250 bucks as well. I still think the echo is a good saw, never said it was bad.
