I met him for lunch a couple weeks ago to hand off an 064 I did for him and he gave me this one with the bar and chain already on it.

I'm very happy running 18" 3/8 square on my MMWS 261 Ver II, I got 60 and 70 cc saws with 20" bars, and Hybrids with 28" light bars.

down at scotty too hotty's today. After Scott did some more R&D work, found some big gains in the 462. Previous best ported time was 35.1 on this saw. Now 32.3. Ported 461 was 30.2. Just 2 seconds away from 461. Which is still a tall order considering more displacement and larger carb on 461

Scott, thats really impressive. I know you've taken a progressive approach to the 462 to see what it likes and doesn't, that takes patients. Almost a 3 sec gain over the previous mods, nice work sir. What was the baseline stock cut for the 462? Julian, thanks for documenting the testing process we've all enjoyed watching the process.
