We had those generic bread bags with the vent holes and had to tape em over so our toes didn't stick out.
Nice Kevin!
Nice Shaun!
Lots of good saws being put out! Keep up the good work everyone!
This is the *s-worde! Thanks to both of you for the enlighteninment.
Proctologist nowadays? Asking for a friend...You should feel it.
... and that’s why I fukkin hate metal chain catchers. I swap em out for rollers if I can. LolI hate having a chain come off the bar. Often the drive links get damaged, and it is lots of work to make them useable again.
My 461 has a roller catch. I *s-wordt a chain off last week and still boogered the dL’s... and that’s why I fukkin hate metal chain catchers. I swap em out for rollers if I can. Lol
Better than damaging cutters. Usually a piss rev with a loose chain smooths the burrs of the DL. But not always if it’s real bad.My 461 has a roller catch. I *s-wordt a chain off last week and still boogered the dL’s
Yep been there done that and it sucks. A roller is still better than a metal catch is my point. If you are in the woods, a chain will function with a few damaged cutters. You can not cut squat if the drivers do not fit into the groove.
Thanks, I understand, but 20" skip sharpens even faster! Just an experiment. Plus with city tree work I'm at high risk of hitting metal which means a LOT more filing on each toothSkip is generally used on bars longer than 20". Like 32 through 36" length. I am only trying to help. I personally think your saw will cut faster using full chisel, full comp chain when using a 20" 3/8 bar with a saw that size.
Just me. 20" chains sharpen pretty fast by hand for me.
