More intake, a lot more, only change.
I Don’t F with China carbs, rattlesnakes or condoms.Nice!!! Two of the 3 big bores I got just seem to need base gasket delete and lowered intake, but the 3rd cylinder needed a lot more work.
On Cyl #3 the transfers were higher, initial #s were 102, 117.5, 63.5. It is now 97.5, 117, 77.5.
I got #2 and #3 running strong, but need to go further with the intake on #1. I moved it to 72.5, but it is still lethargic.
Did you have any carb problems?

I’m running a walbro HD-16L
No problems with the master control lever or choke, as long as you are very intentional with your actions. It is definitely not as smooth and care free as OEM.I knew you were smarter than me … wise move!!!
Any problems with the choke working, or did you also replace the control lever?
I actually had good luck with the ones that came on the 660s, and some other AM ones I got, but the ones with these kits seem real finicky.
I put an AM one on an 044, and a Tree guy has been using it every day for about a year, no complaints.
I guess there are winners and losers with them.

Base gasket is in the saw in both videos, just easier when I plan to go back in.Real nice improvement. Two questions:
1) did #2 vid still have base gasket?
2) where did your intake end up?
I've been shooting for 78 on mine, but I still need to re do #1 (only went from 64 to 72.5, and it is still kinda lethargic).
The squish on these seems to vary more than with the Cross 660 cylinders. Mine (w/o base gasket) were .030, .018 and .024.
I’m at 82 intake in the second video.
Oh boyI’m going to try an intake duration higher than normal. This saw is destined to shed its muffler.
Sounds good, looks like some petrified wood there dude.
