My son and I went to see the doctor, he prescribed a bunch of natural, fiber filled, organic material for our problem.Good call there Kevin, that is why a wedge would not help him.
Also, looks like you were visiting someone! Looks good.
That did look good and strong! [emoji106]

It's hip to be square! Here is another video with my .325 square filed chain and a video with .325 round filed semi chisel for comparison. The .325 square is not perfect by any means, but I am getting better at it. It cut very smooth to me and I like it.

.325 semi chisel round file for comparison.
Another video with square file .325 cutting red oak crotch.
Lastly, Stihl MOFO 460 running 24" 3/8 full chisel round filed chain cutting a red oak crotch. This saw is mean and angry at the same time. Chain is brand new out of the box Oregon Full Chisel chain. I did not lower the rakers, although it does look like I did in the video. Saw is super strong and does nothing but pull hard! [emoji106]
The chain wasn’t aggressive on the 460. It was the dogs. Most large dogs are too much in hardwood. That’s why they put the smaller ones on east coast saws I believe. Some of the large dogs are better than others in hardwood. Maybe try the stock 660 dual dogs on it.Here is another video with my .325 square filed chain and a video with .325 round filed semi chisel for comparison. I’m confused as to what you’re trying to say?The chain wasn’t aggressive on the 460. It was the dogs. Most large dogs are too much in hardwood. The large spikes “bite” more than the smaller ones, too much leverage in hardwood.I’m confused as to what you’re trying to say?

Yes, it’s kinda like having a aggressive chain and pushing too hard.So it’s not the dogs... it’s the operator pulling too hard... no?
