Saw cuts good!

A little trick, I think @t4driller showed, is leave a slight bit on top and plunge through and cut out the bottom. Then come back up top and Clip it. Acts like a wedge.

Yeah works great for pinch situations at landing here too. I end up bore cutting dirty ones too makes chain last much longer.

Buddy it looks bad azz! Definitely pulls hard. Sounds fat but that's not a bad thing considering it's a fresh build. Run er a couple tanks and turn that bish up.
I like it Dave. Seriously it looks great.
Maybe I'll get to fondle it some in October
Yes sir it was 4 stroking hard. Still had plenty more. Thank you for your kind words now it just needs @Deets066 blessing lol

It was somewhere around 14,500 in the video. Still had alot more
After 15,000 or so they don't seem to gain much power. Just because they will tune higher doesn't mean that's the sweet spot. It takes fuel to make power, more you can burn efficiently the more power you make.

Nice runnin saw BTW

Thank you. I'm just guessing on rpm by the how it sounded when we put a tach on it during its first start up.

I really like the works tach or the TTO tach. Comes with a nice mounting bracket and you can check tune anytime you want. Clock and hour meter too

Tree had fell on a slope so in this video I was trying to keep it from pinching. Same wood.
Looks real good dave!! Should wake up a good bit more with some time on her.
My Hybrid that @rattler and I built. I'm very proud of how it turned out. Saw is tuned rich. 20" 8 pin in red oak
