I love a saw that gets all stuffed up with noodles and give zero *f-words.My beater 036 Pro. Made up from a saw missing a bunch of non critical parts and fixed up with a few OEM and Huztl parts.
Stock except for a muffler mod and timing advance.
Semi chisel chain as chisel doesn't stay sharp long in the wood around here. The wood is soft, Linden I think. Comparable to pine or poplar except it splits like Elm only not so easily I noodled most of it up.
I'm pretty happy with it considering I'm mostly and old saw guy.
Happy 4th guys
Them closed port 48mm's run better than you'd think. Mine suprised me. Fun with a 20" bar. Sucker pulls and oils a 28 just fine too, impressive for 65cc if you ask me.Had @Hot Husky 365 on the trigger for some chain testing today.
Started with a loop that I hand filed in an attempt @ "race" chain.
3 cut average 2.86
Next was the 25/15 @ 3.26 average.
Then 20/15 @ 4.40. We both noticed the rakers needed lowered on this run.
So I lowered them with my guide. Ran 3.47 average. I think I could have gone lower.
take a stroke off both chains maybe 2 on the 25/15 it seems to like .035Putting it back is the secret no one has taught me yet!
394 next.
