Learn something new every day. May have to try your bucking technique...
A 372xt I built. Mild port job. On it's first tank so it's tuned a little slow

I learned that from a video on here. Can't remember who it was now.. but I've been doing it ever since then. No more pinched bars. [emoji4]Learn something new every day. May have to try your bucking technique...
I use a similar technique when bucking big logs in a pile. If the pressure is on top and the tension is on the bottom I cut a couple inches into the top, leave the first 4 inches of the bar in as I cut down the side for about 3 inches, then I bore thru and finish the bottom cut. I will try that sonerime to..it all depends on where the tension is on the log whether I leave some meat up top or bottom. I used to just cut from the top and wait til the cut starts to close, then pull out... [emoji6] then try and roll the log over to finish the bottom. With that technique it saves alot of time and unnecessary work trying to roll the log over..I use a similar technique when bucking big logs in a pile.
