I'm happy with the way this one has turned out so far. I'm currently in the thought process of upgrading the carb.
My test log is down to a nub at this point so I couldn't let it self feed.

Not really wow. Almost as fast as a 365 on pump gas. I'm not done tuning on it. Got to raise the metering lever a good bit.

Is that because the 046 is built for more torque versus a 365 having more top end?

046 doesn't even have machine work. I put some finger ports in it and set the numbers with a gasket delete. 365 was a Woods port with normal numbers. Just one that was wow

I was interested in what the HD-12b would run like on my 460....and found out today. It seems to out perform the HD-8a. I'll put the stock HD-16 carb on it and compare that later.

Obviously this is not me running it, but I do own the saw now. It was taken down to the crank and completely rebuilt by Randy. As you can see, it also cuts wood into firewood sized pieces too!

Went out back today and dragged out a maple that broke off in a wind storm. Played with the 026 some more

Also broke out the TM 7900 with 28" bar and new rs chain

That 026 looks strong
