I was looking up some population category terminology or whatever you call it and there's lists that say a "Hamlet" is a community of around 400 people, and as you get close to 1000 it's called a village, and then on to something like 2500 before classifying as a town.

The little community where I grew up out Nonpereil was listed in 2000 to have a population of 202. There was only about half that 22 years ago when I moved away.

My HS graduating class was over 500, and I did not live in a City. They did split the HS into 2 the year after. I did not even know all the people in my graduating class, and met some of them years later.

I cut all day today using Stihl 026 MOFO Worksaw and JMSSAWS 440. 70 degrees and sunny today.
I was using VP fuel with Red Armor at about 36:1.
Both saws ran real strong.
This video duo is comparing .325 and 3/8 Full Chisel chains on 18" bars in the same piece of wood with 7 pin rim sprockets. Both chains were hand filed prior to use by me. Both chains are fairly new.

First video is 026 running .325 chain.

Second video is 026 running 3/8 chain. Full Chisel, not pico.

Overall, the .325 seemed better to me. Smoother in the cut and held higher RPM'S. The 3/8 chain really grabbed the wood and loaded the saw much more than the .325 chain.

How many tanks have you ran through the 440 so far?
It's a good solid saw.

I didn't video it today, but I used 3 full tanks just today cutting 1 year dead wood. Pretty hard stuff. I had a 24" bar with Full Comp chain.
So strong, it took a beating to my spikes. Lol. They are toast. I need to go with OEM Steel spikes.

I have over 15 tanks through it now. It ran well today. Started 1st pull with choke on and stayed running after sitting for a long while. No spooge out the muffler that I could see with this Red Armor oil.

Lol. Junk spikes. Put them on one of your Hybrids and you would probably bend them too. Lol
The Farmertech spikes are aluminum. Junk.
Look really cool but do not work well.
