I think I'll be hard pressed to build one faster/stronger. I've got a few ideas though
They are real good saws with 20-24" on emThis one feels like a high revving 460 but I wouldn't necessarily call a 460 a tourqe saw but it does have some grunt but to me there a 20 or 24" 8pin firewood saw,to high strung for a falling saw but great for blocking firewood.
They feel silly to me with more than a 24" on them but some like it.

24" is more bar than is needed here and there is no point in filing the extra chain if you ain't gonna use it.You are spoiled by your big saws! A 28" light on a ported 460 will balance well, and the saw will pull it just fine. After that I would opt for the heavier 90 cc saws.
