Did they make the piston skirt extra wide?
I just got a dukes 660 cylinder for my saw after you made a post that they timed well. I’ll be porting it but it’s nice to have something good to start with. Really like how yours turned outNormal width, which can get you ports as wide as you should go for a work saw.

https://youtube.com/shorts/VPr_GciwcNc?feature=share Here’s the 660 clone with the ported and machined cross cylinder 36” 8t. I’ll be going a different direction with the dukes cylinder. We will see how it turns out.
Thank you! That be a better planThat one runs pretty good, maybe you should get another 660 kit and keep that one together.
Runs amazing! Can’t wait to see how your race 272 comes outHey guys, brandy new to the forum. My best work is probably your worst work…. But id like to get in on the conversation. Here was one of my favorite builds i did a few months back. 266 piston 044 jug. .060” off the D chamber, .040 off the piston (flat top) 100_118/128_81. https://youtu.be/PnR2XGD-bFc
Just got the results back from @Red97 on this saw...she came in with peak power of 6.6hp at 11K.Repaired & ported ms362:
I found out after the cuts that the bar & chain were dry….helps if you put oil in the saw.
