036 in a hard old fir. Chain has a few trees bucked on it and could use a touch up and got some aggressive rakers on it. Real grabby when cleaning up face cuts! Anywho I’ll try and get a better video with fresh chain. Been in the get home from work and get some work done mode so hopefully I can set some saws up to play with soon.

Maybe once it is fully dialed in ill get to dyno it. Just a fun project they have been messing with.
I saw that video yesterday, they might have a hard time getting the turbo to spool up into a power band with such a small motor, 090 might be better . Theres some tiny turbos out there too but they require alot of exhaust pressure to build a usable amount of air pressure.

They were getting about 2psi from that bigger turbo in the pic. The one in the video was a bit smaller. They build turbo sleds, but those are reed valve and more accepting of added weight. And larger displacent as you mentioned never hurts.

Old girl got a break from its normal flogging of milling logs. Has more hours than all my other saws combined and still fires up fine and puts in work. She tried to talk back starting it before the second cut, I’ve learned to be violent pulling this one or I get bit. Hoping to get a 881 next winter and give this one some downtime. Or just get a double powerhead bar!
