Friend asked if I could cut this up for him this morning. Wife and kids did a benefit walk for cancer awareness. Soooo it was game on my friends. I don’t often come home, but when I do ………..I run ported saws hahahaha. Happy thanksgiving everyone.

Gave the old beast a run today old dry Stringy got close to a ute load out of it. Cut and loaded less than 25min I'm still half fit lol
Need to look at the saw something is up with it might have an air leak or needs a carb kit.

Nice. That's some slick cutting right there! I assume you were using .404 chain? Do you mod the oiler at all?
I assume you are talking to me? lol
If so yes that's RS .404 it could have done with a rub but I didn't have a file with me. I run all my saws oilers on max have never modified one.

Yes I could have used a smaller saw but I was just farting about thought I'd give the old tank a run for abit of fun.

We are in spring and a very wet spring at that only had a handful of sunny days.

What chain do u use?
404?
Normally I do, and definitely in bigger stuff, but I just grabbed what was handy yesterday for a few cuts. Like @rogue60, just messing around a bit 3/8" ground like Factory LGX. Cut better than I'm used to, maybe I finally got a good grind, maybe it was an easier log than the rest. Didn't hold sharp very long, almost a tank before I was done cutting. Wasn't terribly, dull, but just starting to lose it's self feed.

There is a lot of discussion about dry hard aussie wood in a thread I have here calle, "Chatter in dry hard Eucalyptus". I learned a lot from Rogue60 and other Aussies.
