Somewhere between 100-104 on the exhaust depending on its purpose. Somewhere around 20°bd. Somewhere around 80 on the intake

I’ve never ran a 272 that could embarrass a 372. I’m sure there out there though? The torque is good on 272, but they don’t seem to turn up as much rpm in the cut.

It’s got the hs-255b with the high speed governor bypassed.

I agree with that. A ported 272 can smoke a stock 372 but playing catch-up for a good bit.

A stock 272 is a turd honestly lol but they can wake up quite a bit

This one I did was pretty upidy but I never tried more compression to that timing recipe. I didn’t take much from the squish band and base compared to my other torque monsters. Maybe I need to revisit that recipe.

Ahh. I thought the 372 had quad ports. Hence the higher RPMs.

The oe 372 does. Xtorq is 2. And strato
