I subscribe to most of the guys/girls channels I find on here , good stuff.
I often give people sh¡t about ported McCulloch saws when I find them because I have seen zero gains from a well tuned , sharp chain saw Mac.
I’ve never ran a Mac. One of these days at a gtg someone’s gonna have to put one in my hands and show me what I’m missing.

My 562 with just a muffler mod. Not really that much of a difference from stock, except it's a little louder. I would say that my ported 2152 is just as fast, if not faster, in the same size wood.

Finished my 562 up, trying to get little more torque. Just a muffler mod, base cut, pop up and widened the exhaust to 65% of the bore. It's a little faster but more importantly, it feels like it's got a little more grunt.

372xt rebuilt with new Nachi bearings, Caber rings, and stuffed for a 32” bar

That is a strong running x-torq! What kind of timing numbers do you shoot for on these? (please disregard the question if that would be disclosing proprietary info :) )
