That's about a three year old video. I was cutting the squish on 4° and making it match the piston then. Since then though, we've started cutting the piston flat, and the squish band flat as well. That gets the exhaust down even more, and builds a better saw.

I'm gonna do a 026 thread in a couple of days showing the "new" way.

Fact is, ain't nothing new about it. Treemonkey has been doing that way for years. I'm just a slow learner.

I saw that 026 in the Bench thread, beautiful saw. Makes sense to me but it takes guys like you and Treemonkey to prove it.
I've been experimenting with compression bumpers I made. Bolt with same thread as compression release, rounded off at the end, threaded in about 5 thou above piston.
I was able to raise compression 25 psi on an ms 460, however I need to do long term testing. I'm sure something like this has been discussed, any thoughts?

Lol. First video I made. Modded my muffler on my closed port husky 55. This is before I realized the importance of a sharp chain.
