You can't lite diesel with a match I'm told...
Thus the high compression needed for combustion...
Diesel contains Cetane
Gas contains octane

Diesel lights fine with a match. But it doesn’t explode without upwards of 500psi of compression

The best fuel is fresh fuel. Forget everything else. There’s so many variables. Just variations between different batches at the same station at different times, let alone differences from one station to the next can throw any “definitive results” out the window unless you’re doing a ton of testing with lab controlled operating conditions. If you’re gonna go full scientist on something, you have to do it properly if it’s to actually be a useful experiment.

Same here. Usually get 10-15 gallons every year. No E-free here either.

I go to a Pure gas station near me to get pure 93, but lately I've been saving the 1hr round trip for ethanol 93.

I wonder if they sell lower grade gas now since Ethanol having an equivalent octane number of I think 106, it might change the overall anti knock properties of the gas.

2166 with muffler mod first tank with a 24 in ash.
First video is about 12 cuts into the tank, second is right after with the chain tuned a bit better, nothing else was changed.
